Comparative Literature Graduate Landed in KPMG
There are many good reasons to choose a licensed profession. If you are not taking any of the professional degrees, are there chances for you to pursue such a career? One good example would be the accounting profession.

As part of the Job Secret Decoder series, we have invited Jason Chan from our full-time Class of 2017 to share about his career journey in KPMG as a graduate of Comparative Literature major. This is an interactive Zoom session, you are welcome to ask questions after listening to Jason’s story and the tips to get through the selection process in Big 4. Join us to hear from Jason:

Jason Chan (BA 2017)

Jason completed his Bachelor of Arts, Comparative Literature major with First-Class honours. Nominated to KPMG’s advisory arm proposing to bank groups, corporate lenders, facilitating turnaround and formal liquidation, Jason is now an Assistant Manager in Restructuring. He first started his career in the audit practice of KPMG, specialised in Conglomerate, Retail and Transportation verticals. After being accredited as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he is now pursuing the Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) programme.
