What is the first thing coming to your mind when people talk about “social enterprise”? Charity organisation? Social responsibilities? Or serving for profits? With the collaborative efforts of the business sector and the academia, social enterprises in Hong Kong have developed swiftly throughout in recent years in terms of their numbers and diversity in services.
To increase our understanding on social enterprise, Mr James Chong, the founder of Rolling Books and his team, are going to share with us some of their visions and missions, and circumstances they have overcome in their journey. And a story-teller from Rolling Books will deliver a story-telling and handicraft workshop, to equip yourself with story-telling and workshop leading techniques. With these techniques, you are going to lead a group of primary children to the world of fiction.
Sharing, workshop and volunteer work, all bundle in ONE activity! Join us and enjoy the whole new experience of story-telling!

1st Session:
Date: 8 November, 2021 (Mon)
Time: 7:30pm-10:00pm
Venue: Yau Ma Tei
Content: Sharing by Mr James Chong (Rolling Books) and training on story-telling techniques
2nd Session:
Date: 13 November, 2021 (Sat)
Time: 1:00pm-5:00pm
Venue: YMCA Tin Shui Wai Tin Ching Centre
Content: Delivering an interactive reading workshop for primary students
