About the Programme

Have you ever thought of how a truly disabled-accessible city looks like? 

Do you think Hong Kong is inclusive and accessible to the disabled? What about the work done in other regions and countries? 

And you now get the chance to step into their world! Join our “PHABulous Camp” and we will explore together! 

We will create our “disabled-friendly Hong Kong in 2030” and plan your own activity to utilise the takeaways from the camp. Foreign friends will be invited to share their own ideas and you also get a chance to interact with the disabled during the “Paralympics” and “Human Library” sessions. Do not miss the chance and join this programme with your friends!

 

Programme Details

Language: Cantonese

Fee: $200 + $100 Deposit (Deposit refundable upon completion of programme with full attendance)

 

1. Preparation Meeting

Date: 8 Jan 2022 (Sat)

Time: 14:00 - 18:00

Location: 8/F, Chung Kiu Commercial Building, 47-51 Shantung Street, Mong Kok, Kowloon

Details: Get to know each other, briefing session and preparation work

 

2. “PHABulous” Overnight Camp 

Date: 10-11 Jan 2022 (Mon-Tue)

Location: Wu Kwai Sha Youth Village (Ma On Shan)

Gathering Time and Location: 10:30 @HKU

Dismissal time: 17:00

Details: Campus hunt, paralympics, human library, interaction with foreign guests, “Hong Kong in 2030”

 

3. Post-camp Activity

Date: Feb 2022 (TBC)

Time and Location: TBC

Details: To utilise the take-away from the camp and spread the message to others
