Peer English Tutoring Programme

Peer English Tutoring is for students who want to improve their oral English (tutees) to chat with other students who are native or near native English speakers (tutors). It is a student volunteering service organised by us and the Centre for Applied English Studies.

The programme not only provides an opportunity for students to practise their spoken English but also creates a platform for cultural and knowledge exchange. Each practice session is 30 minutes long. The content of the practice session is decided by the tutors and tutees.

To check the schedule and register for the practice sessions, please visit All practice sessions are held in Chi Wah Learning Commons, Centennial Campus.

CEDARS Reward Points will be given to the tutors for their contribution to the project. Watch out our emails for recruitment of tutors. If you can’t wait, please email us
