The Student Development Programmes provided by CEDARS are structured into three categories and three levels.
The three categories are:
Global Citizenship which inspires students to contribute to the United Nations Millennium Development Goals;
Service Learning in which students contribute their expertise and apply academic knowledge to improve human condition, and
Leadership which nurtures students to be responsive and responsible leaders.
Each category is split into three levels, beginning with Exposures and Engagement which are activities for students to build a general understanding of the subject, then Development and Enhancement which deepens students’ knowledge and skills in the issue and finally Self-initiative and Funding Opportunity for students with leadership and experience to propose and implement their own projects with funding from CEDARS.
These categories are inter-linked and not sequential. Students may choose to attend any level of programmes according to their interest, experience and commitment that they can devote.
